The system uses 6063-T6 powder-coated aluminum instead of structural wood or vinyl. Aluminum does not warp or crack like wood and does not rely on the same type of flexible vinyl surface. The gate is corrosion-resistant, low maintenance and built around a rigid interlocking T&G privacy surface.
Can I install the ALU60 T&G Double Swing Gate Kit myself?
Yes. The Universal kit is designed for DIY-friendly assembly and includes the two gate frames, ALU60 tongue-and-groove boards, pivot hinge system, closing components and stainless-steel assembly hardware. Intermediate DIY skills are recommended, and the installation tools are not included.
